Fleetwood Park Secondary is a public high school in Surrey, British Columbia part of School District 36 Surrey. The school ranked 48 of 293 according to the Fraser Institute Studies in Education Policy in 2012–2013 with a 97.2% graduation rate. The school has three floors and two language classes; Spanish and French.
Chemistry 12AP is a higher-level chemistry course equivalent to
a first year university course. Experimentation and problem
solving are major parts of the course. At the completion of this
course, students will be well-prepared to write the Advanced
Placement exam. Chemistry 12AP completes the following
Chemistry 12 topics: Structure of Matter, Properties of Matter,
Chemical Reactions, Rates of Chemical Reactions, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium.
Physics 12AP is a higher-level physics course equivalent to a
first year university course. This course helps develop analytical, experimental and problem solving skills. At the completion
of this course, students will be well-prepared to write the
Advanced Placement exam. The following topics are the basis
for Physics 12AP: Mechanics; and Electromagnetism.
This course is the culmination of the study of French language and
culture at the secondary level.
More complex facets of language and literature are introduced.
French culture is explored in greater detail.
Some universities offer advanced placement upon successful completion of French 12. Students may also participate in a DELF *
exam at the A2 or B1 level.
